PASSENGERS who have rail tickets booked for trains out of Okehampton tomorrow can use them over the weekend or on Monday if they choose not to travel due to Storm Eunice.

GWR also says it will issue full refunds or e-vouchers to anyone choosing not to travel.

At the moment trains are still scheduled to run on the Okehampton to Exeter line but there may be delays to branch lines throughout Cornwall and Devon and mainline services and 50mph speed restrictions

The Met Office has issued a red weather warning with winds of up to 90mph forecast, coastal areas are expected to fare worse and there’s an amber warning for the rest of Devon and Cornwall.

There will be significant changes to rail services from 4am so customers, particularly those with onward journeys to London from Exeter are being asked to check their journey before setting out. This can be done through Journey Check on journeycheck.com/GreatWesternRailway
