DUE to the continual rain, Okehampton Argyle's first team matches at home to Crediton on Boxing Day and at home to Totnes on Saturday were both postponed.

This means that the Peninsula League side have now played only two games since the beginning of November and have had eight matches postponed. They are also not scheduled to have a match until Saturday, January 19 as the league has been unable to re-arrange any of the postponed fixtures until April.

In Devon and Exeter division four, Okehampton Argyle Reserves played away to Newtown thirds and included three regular first team players to strengthen the squad. They played well to come away with a 5-1 win with goals from Dan Leahy (penalty), Dave Smith, Dale Chadwick and Luke Alden 2.

n This Saturday, the Reserves are home to Axmouth United, kick-off 2.15pm.
